This Week in Thrift: Ball Jars and a Spoon Bracelet

I've decided to do a weekly feature called "This Week in Thrift." I usually go out thrift shopping at least once a week. Sometimes I find stuff; sometimes I don't. If it's a don't week, I'll just profile something I found that is second hand in my house.

Today, Karen and I went to Savers on Lake St. after work. She found really great black pinstripe pants from Lane Bryant with the tags still on them. I found some cornflower blue Ball Jars, a bracelet made from the handles of silverware, and a London Times green dress with a nice print.

Here are some pictures.

This one is a little washed out due to a mixture
of flash and no Picniking.

  1. Oooo, love the spoon bracelet! Great find :)

I love to thrift, I just don't do it as often as I'd like. Last time I got 2 belts for $3. Winning!

  2. I wore that bracelet all day today. It's my new good luck charm!

I love belts, but I can't seem to find good quality belts that sling around the hips. I can find waist belts galore!

    2 for $3 is winning!

  3. I like to thrift shop too. Tomoko goes every Sat. morning and gets all kinds of good stuff. She also returns her old clothes and buys new ones: her clothes library!

  4. Returning her old clothes for new ones? I like my stuff too much! However... I do have a suitcase of winter stuff that I'm not sure I will use again. :/
